Barricada were a navarrese hard rock band created in 1982 near the area of Pamplona/Iruñea. The band members were Enrique Villareal (El Drogas) as bassist and vocalist, Javier Hernandez (Boni) guitarist and vocalist, Alfredo Piedrafita as guitarist and Ibon Sagarra (Ibi) on drums. Together they have written great songs such as "Campoamargo", about the uprising in Marinaleda, an Andalousian town where the landless peasants occupied the estates and collectivised them.

They don´t play heavy metal but have created really powerful cuts, and I have included not only metal bands, such as Ramones or Marillion, considering they are great bands and they provide a really interesting work, related in any way to metal and hard rock. The band members are Enrique Villareal ("El Drogas"), as bassist and vocalist, Javier Hernández ("Boni"), guitaris and vocalist, Alfredo Piedrafita, as guitarist, and Fernando Coronado on drums. "Noche de rock and roll" was their first album, a classic work of Spanish rock, this "Picadura de escorpión" has a deep rock feeling, and clever lyrics.
