167 - Motörhead Overkill 1979
The legendary Motörhead are one of hard rock's most enduring legends. Fronted by the irrepressible Lemmy Kilmister, the band are lauded by critics, fellow musicians, and the legion of fans they have built up over the years. Lemmy's gruff vocal stylings and the band members' "take no prisoners" attitude to music has seen them justifiably earn their legendary status, with 1979s "Overkill" perhaps their finest hour of all. Featuring tracks such as "Stay Clean," "No Class," "Overkill," and a cover of "Louie, Louie," hard rock doesn't get much better than this.
