54 - Gary Moore Out in the Fields 1985

Gary Moore is acknowledged as one of the finest musicians that the British Isles has ever produced. Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in 1970 Gary moved to Dublin, and befriended Philip Lynott, who filled the vocal role with the local band Skid Row. Moore joined Skid Row, but Phil Lynott would soon after leave the group to double up on bass and form Thin Lizzy. Gary was soon to reunite with Philip Lynott as replacement for Eric Bell in the Thin Lizzy line-up. In 1979, Gary's solo career began again. A reunion with Philip Lynott produced this powerful 'Out In The Fields' hit single (1985). Lynott died this same year, suffering from a heroin overdose.
