Destruction already have been founded in 1983, by Mike Sifringer and Thomas Senmann under the name of Knight of Demon. After a certain "Schmier" was enlisted as singer, they finally re baptized the band to Destruction. They decided to follow the tracks of Motörhead and with that they started the run of success as a trio. After the cult demo "Bestial Invasion Of Hell" SPV/Steamhammer offered the band a deal. The super fast "Bestial Invasion" was not left out in their first album "Infernal Overkill".
