Arguably Roth's best post Van Halen album and certainly the most commercially successful, "Eat 'Em and Smile" assembles the best musicians Roth could have found: Steve Vai, Billy Sheehan, and Greg Bissonette. The single "Yankee Rose" was catchy and poppy yet hard edged.
