Together with bands such as Sodom and Kreator, Destruction was the band in the eighties which put Germany on the world of thrash metal. Schmier and Mike are definitely far more mature as musicians than they were back in the '80s, and they are still capable of creating good quality thrash, an example this "nailed to the Cross".
