903 - The Everly Brothers Cathy's clown 1960
The Everly Brothers are brothers and top-selling country-influenced rock and roll performers, known for steel-string guitar playing and close harmony singing. "Cathy's Clown" is a popular song, written and recorded by The Everly Brothers, Don and Phil. It was their first single for Warner Bros.; they had spent three years on Archie Bleyer's Cadence label. "Cathy's Clown" sold eight million copies worldwide, spent five weeks at number one on the U.S. charts in May-June of 1960, and became the Everly Brothers' biggest hit single.
