1022 - Marduk Autumnal Reaper 1994

Marduk is one of Sweden's leading Black Metal bands. Their name is derived from the Babylonian god Marduk, patron deity of Babylon. The band formed in 1990 with guitarist Morgan Steinmeyer Hakansson, vocalist Andreas Axelsson, bassist Richard Kalm and drummer Joakim Grave. "Opus Nocturne" is the last Marduk album to feature Joakim Göthberg on vocals and Dan Swanö as mixer. Drummer Joakim af Grafve was replaced by Fredrik Andersson whom stayed with the band all the way until 2002 in which he was kicked out and replaced by Emil Dragutinovic. This was the exact point in the band's career when the musicians clicked the best and began writing the most brutal and talented black metal.
