"In The City" is the debut studio album of British mod revival/punk band The Jam. Released in 1977, it featured the title track as hit single.
While only a minor hit on the charts, the song was characteristic of Paul Weller´s youth anthems. These celebrations of British youth dominated the band´s early output, and help catalyze the mod revival.
