Type O Negative was a heavy metal band from Brooklyn, New York City. Their dramatic lyrical emphasis on themes of romance, depression, and death resulted in the nickname "The Drab Four" (in homage to The Beatles' "Fab Four" moniker).
"Bloody Kisses" is their third album, also the last recording to feature Sal Abruscato on drums. "Black No.1 (Little Miss Scare-All)", the most successful single, poked fun at (and paid tribute to) gothic subculture stereotypes.
