1313 - Rough Cutt Cutt Your Heart Out 1985

Rough Cutt is the self-titled debut album of the 80's hard rock/heavy metal band of the same name. It was produced by Tom Allom, who is most famous for producing Judas Priest. The band by this time had a set line-up of Paul Shortino (vocals), Matt Thorr (bass), Chris Hager (guitar), Amir Derahk (guitar), and David Alford (drums). Rough Cutt powers through with a strong showing of metal which also hints at a blues influence. The fiery "Cut your Heart out" is Rough Cutt at their heaviest, a great burst of Metal energy with some great melodies and a fantastic vocal performance by Paul Shortino.
