1453 - Iron Maiden Where Eagles Dare 1983

Clive Burr’s departure from Iron Maiden had fans worried, but the opener ‘Where Eagles Dare’ buried all doubts about the new drummer Nicko McBrain. Steve Harris wrote this song based on the 1968 movie of the same name, directed by Brian G. Hutton. Bruce's extended high note at the end of the song, together with Harris´s galloping rhythm, make a fantastic beginning for "Piece of Mind".
