1490 - Sarissa Electric Axes 1987

One of the most experienced Greek Heavy Metal bands. The "sarissa" was a spear used in the ancient Greek and Hellenistic warfare. It was introduced by Philip II of Macedon. Split up in 1995, reformed in 1999. Jimmy Selalmazidis is the only constant member. Their first demo is a professional piece of work. Fast and heavy guitars, epic singing, melodic solos and clean and distinct rhytmic base, on songs like "Electric Axes".
