1590 - Havok Prepare for Attack 2011

Havok wear their influences on their sleeve; early-era Testament, Metallica, Megadeth, Exodus and Slayer come to mind. 
The imagery displayed on the album art of “Time Is Up” isn’t a far cry from how the music sounds, as each riff is unto itself a massive gavel, slamming down with the fury of a thousand judges sentencing the world to mass devastation.  The instrumental section of the band was actually astounding. The guitars all focused around the pentatonic scale whilst holding true to the roots of thrash.

“Prepare For Attack” ´s start-stop patterns, fast and furious riffs, pounding drums and gang shout vocals make for a great beginning to Time is Up.
