1607 - UFO Call My Name 1983

Founder member/bassist Pete Way had left the band by the time of "Making Contact". Many regard this as UFO-lite with only Phil Mogg now remaining from the original line-up and the spark of Schenker missing. The album also sounds less like the band of old and more American AOR-influenced. The album is full of killer riffs and upholds the high standards the band had already set for themselves. Paul Chapman's axework smokes and proves once again that he is plays his instrument with proficiency. Feeling and pure rock on this "Call my Name".
