1458 - Faith No More: Surprise! You´re Dead! 1989

"The Real Thing" is the third studio album by the American rock band Faith No More. It was the first release by the band not to feature vocalist Chuck Mosley, instead the album featured Mike Patton from the experimental band Mr. Bungle. Mike Patton´s vocals are absolutely excellent. He can go high and low, melodically, and aggressively, like in "Surprise! You´re Dead!", and his voice is quite unique. Short and painful, the song brings us a mix of Punk-ish attitude and thrashy feeling.
