1601 - Gravestone You Are The Sun 1985

Gravestone was a German metal band, originally a progressive rock outfit, before going into the heavy metal genre. Berti Majdan is a skilled dude with a voice that retains plenty of that typical German whininess. Mathias Dieth is the great German guitarist best known for his outstanding guitarwork on the U.D.O. solo albums. This release, "Back To Attack" is apparently one of Dieth's first forays into the recording studio. If you like Teutonic old school metal, you're pretty much guaranteed to dig this one.
