War Eternal took on new changes in the band’s sound and chemistry, proving to be an energetic good time. Alissa White-Gluz introduced a new edge of lyricism to the band, while the group continued to show their ability in creating powerful and vibrant instrumentation. It is with this in mind that Will To Power (Century Media) acts as the next step for Arch Enemy, as they amp up their sound and musicianship to new highs. Will To Power includes another new addition in the line-up, with that being ex-Nevermore guitarist Jeff Loomis. While the entire record is an instrumental treat, the most powerful aspects are the guitar work of Loomis and Michael Amott. In practically every song, each musician presents outstanding melodies that blend with brutal rhythms, creating a mix of pure brutality and a sensational catchiness. Drummer Daniel Erlandsson and bassist Sharlee D’Angelo also contribute an immense drive and adrenaline to the material. It is in Will To Power where we find White-Gluz taking a much stronger lead in the band. After a catchy introduction in “Set Flame To The Night”, the band shifts themselves into high gear with “The Race”, bringing back an energy that is similar to old-school Arch Enemy. The drumming clashes forward with a relentless flow as the guitar rhythm rides on waves of searing riffs and delicious melody. From the moment the music kicks off, White-Gluz lashes out with sharp gutturals that pack grit.

Formed by the Amott brothers in the 90's, Arch Enemy went on to become one of the most influential bands in the melodic death scene. As the 90's turned into the 2000's, the band also evolved, acquiring female vocalist Angela Gassow. 2002's "Anthems of Rebellion" was the band's second album with Angela on board. "Dead eyes see no future" contains an astonishing guitar work and an unforgettable metallic atmosphere.

Arch Enemy was brought together by guitarist Michael Amott (ex. Carcass) in 1996. This Death Metal/Melodic Death Metal band, hailing from Sweden, mixes fiery riffs with melodic leads to give you that "in your face" experience shown by many of the same genre. For "Wages of Sin" Angela Gossow came in as vocalist to replace Liiva. With new vocalist at hand, Arch Enemy has been a nonstop treat in the death metal genre, and seem to have no boundaries. "Ravenous" starts off with light drumming and a cool little lead. The rest pounds in, and the main riff is introduced. Angela is really impressive.

Arch Enemy is a Swedish melodic death metal band, formed in 1995 by ex-Carcass guitarist Michael Amott. "Anthems of Rebellion" is their fifth studio album, and the second album to feature the vocals of Angela Gossow. The mid-paced lead single "We Will Rise" has a catchy rhythm in which the guitars vamp up in pre-chorus and chorus. The drummer,Daniel Erlandsson, is great in this song, doing shattering double bass with the guitars while snaring it up on verse.
