1525 - Soziedad Alkoholika En el Tejado 1995

"Ratas" was the album in which the band adds a more forceful guitar to its initial hardcore punk thrash, and it would be the key to the future, without forgetting the melodic voice lines and galloping drums. A very accessible album, despite its forcefulness and scathing criticism. "En el Tejao" has become a brilliant analysis of a prisoner´s feelings. A song that oozes rage and includes naturally a fast guitar solo.

1225 Soziedad Alkoholika Ratas 1995

For 15 years, Soziedad Alkoholika have been one of the most well known bands in the metal and punk scene since their demo "Intoxicación Etílika". Explosive concerts, a critical and intelligent lyrics and well-composed angry music built up their huge status and massive fan base. Their former style, with deep roots in metal, hardcore as well as classic death metal influences evolved to its utmost consistency with "Ratas", their most complete and aggresive work to date. The opening song starts off with some of the sickest heavy grooves you have ever heard for some minutes till it breaks in to a fast-paced thrash metal attack.

Al llegar hasta el cotxe
dejas las llaves caer
¿no sea ke haya un bulto raro?

como a Carrero, como a Carrero
ay que jodido es ser "madero"
en un lugar donde me consideran

Soziedad Alkoholika (abbreviated to SA) is a band from the Basque Country in Spain. They were founded in Vitoria in 1988. The style of music is Crossover Thrash, and the lyrics are against militarism, fascism, racism, sexism and others themes. The band was censored for a time due to their lyrics in a few songs by the Asociación de Víctimas del Terrorismo. They made its debut with the release of a demo called "Intoxicación Etílica" in 1990, followed by a self-titled album. "Nos vimos en Berlín" appears on this album, and the lyrics were also controversial as they deal in not a very subtle manner with Jewish current methods in Palestinian territories.
