1483 - Obituary The End Complete 1992

In 1991, Obituary returned to Morrisound, in Tampa, to record their third full-length album, "The End Complete". Alan West returned to the band, combinig amazingly with Trevor Peres on the guitars. The title cut is probably the best song on here, a very catchy song all the way through, shredding solo, then a catchy outro riff which lasts about 2 minutes.

1069 - Obituary Don´t Care 1994

"Don't Care" is the best song in "World Demise", some thrashy riffs and drum beats, cool solos, usual bass-lines, and of course, John Tardy´s distinct and unrivaled guttural voice.

707 - Obituary Killing Time 1992

Alan West returns to Obituary and the result is 1992's "The End Complete", the epitome of what a Death Metal album should be.

177 - Obituary Chopped In Half 1990

Obituary certainly were one of the guiding lights of the Florida death metal scene, a scene so rude that fourteen years later it seems too good to be true. 1989 and '90 saw the breaking out of Obituary, Morbid Angel, Deicide and Cannibal Corpse, the one time 'big four' of the death metal circuit, into the metal mainstream.
"Chopped In Half" is a bona fide classic, an abundance of meaty riffs and crude drumming are contained within.

When Obituary released "Slowly We Rot", it was widely accepted as a landmark of the genre, and Obituary quickly became an influential band in the '80's Florida death metal scene. John Tardy is recognized as one of the first vocalists to use an abnormally low growl (compared to the screechy growls used by predecessors Death and Possessed).
