1529 - Dimmu Borgir The Sacrilegious Scorn 2007
"In Sorte Diaboli" (Latin for "In league with the devil") is Norwegian symphonic black metal band Dimmu Borgir's first concept album, with a story located in medieval Europe. It is about a priest who begins to doubt his faith, and then ends up taking the place of the Antichrist. "There's this dude that works as a priest's assistant, and after a while he just discovers that he has nothing to do with Christianity", rhythm guitar and liner story Silenoz says.
Groove riffing and soaring choral effects that found at cuts such as "The Sacrilegious Scorn", also including a beautiful piano break).

1234 - Dimmu Borgir Progenies of the Great Apocalypse 2003
Dimmu Borgir unleashed the stunningly impressive "Death Cult Armageddon" in 2003. The CD booklet boasts an artist's rendering of a twisted metal machination surrounded by a sea of skulls and bones, which is a perfect analogy for the trajectory of Dimmu's musical vision -- immense, strange, and jutting in all directions, an imposing and powerful monstrosity that's the concoction of a few brilliantly twisted minds.
The song Progenies Of The Great Apocalypse's mixture of film score-worthy orchestral music and black metal runs throughout the entirety of 'Death Cult Armageddon'. Although the symphonic sound is nothing new to metal, only a few bands have the dedication and resources to commission a full-blown orchestra to fulfill their sound, and it is realized beautifully here.

782 - Dimmu Borgir Broderskapets Ring 1996
Dimmu Borgir is a symphonic black metal band from Norway. "Dimmu Borgir" means "Dark Cities" or "Dark Fortresses" in Icelandic and Old Norse. The name is derived from a volcanic formation in Iceland, Dimmuborgir. The main riff for "Broderskapets Ring" is what makes it one of Dimmu Borgir's most memorable. The song goes from slow to mid-paced, and is performed almost perfectly. Shagrath's vocals are low on this track, some of them almost gutteral.

469 - Dimmu Borgir A Succubus In Rapture 1997
Dimmu Borgir prove to us with "Enthrone Darkness Triumphant" that they are able to write very well structured and with all variety very flowing songs, something that many of their genre-colleagues so sorely lack. They merge heaviness and atmosphere, uncompromising tunes with melodies to a union instead of just meddling with them.
"A Succubus In Rapture" starts out with atmospheric keyboards, soon to be accompanied by a slow-paced rhythm and almost epic guitars, together with Shagrath's usual harsh vocals.13 agosto 2007
197 - Dimmu Borgir Alt lys er svunnet hen 1996
Dimmu Borgir is a symphonic black metal band from Norway. "Dimmu Borgir" literally means "Dark Castles/Fortresses" in archaic Icelandic ("Dark Cities" in modern usage). The name itself is derived from volcanic formations found in Iceland called Dimmuborgir.
"Stormblåst" is simply one of the best Dimmu borgir album ever.It is sung entirely in the band's native language, Norwegian, and was their last album to be completely in Norwegian instead of English. The album starts with melancolic piano-intro and after that begins one of the most legendary Dimmu borgir song "Alt lys er svunnet hen" (All light has faded away), with a melancolic, harsh, sad and gloomy atmosphere.
