1342 - Immolation Higher Coward 2000
Hailing from Yonkers, New York, Immolation first began conjuring up ideas in 1986, when death metal was still in its infancy and many thrash bands were at the top of their respective games.
The album "Close to a World Below" introduces its demonic and diabolical sound with the opening song, "Higher Coward". Guitarists Robert Vigna and Thomas Wilkinson shred with lightning-fast precision as the guitars strain under the stress of their devilish riffs and schizophrenic soloing, which embody the very image of an inferno.

802 - Immolation Internal Decadence 1991
"Dawn of Perfection" is a great death metal album. There are tempo changes everywhere, raw melodies, fast and brutal drums, totally evil growls, and frightening solos. “Internal Decadence” is a pretty fast track, those thundering drums keep the song dynamic, with every break the drummer, Craig Smilowski, does.

508 - Immolation Burial Ground 1991
Immolation´s full instrumentation is magnificent; all kind of percussive blasts, hyper-fast yet catchy drumming, intense guitar riffs, a lot of complex structures and intricate solos. "Burial Ground" is a token of this style.
