1439 - Exodus The Toxic Waltz 1989
While not has furious as "Bonded by Blood" their third release "Fabulous Disaster" contains some thrash classics. Lead singer Steve Souza who sounds like a pumped up Bon Scott, just incredible at the vocals. Gary Holt and Rick Hunolt contain the mayhem with tight intonation and lockstep harmonizing.
With a song like the mid paced classic ‘Toxic Waltz’, built around a catchy main riff and ditto catchy vocal lines, the band paid tribute to the pit, even resulting in an excellent music video.

698 - Exodus A Lesson in Violence 1985
Had it been released immediately after it was recorded in 1984, Exodus' Bonded by Blood might be regarded today alongside Metallica's Kill 'em All as one of the landmark albums responsible for launching the thrash metal wave. But by the time it finally hit the streets more than a year later due to numerous record company-related difficulties, the genre the band helped spawn had evolved at an alarming rate (again, largely thanks to the unstoppable Metallica) and Exodus were left to wonder what kind of impact they may have had without these setbacks. Perhaps their best well-known track is this fast "A Lesson in Violence".

515 - Exodus Piranha 1985
Exodus was one of the early thrash bands that arose from the Bay Area scene. Forming in 1982, they recorded this album in 1984, but due to difficulties, the CD wasn't released until la te 1985, where thrash was peaking. Exodus are a rare 5-piece thrash band, with Baloff not playing any instruments.
Kirk Hammett, lead guitarist of the mighty Metallica, was originally part of Exodus, but left the band (without recording with them) when he was recruited to Metallica to replace Dave Mustaine. Later in Exodus's career, Testament's vocalist (then known as Legacy) Steve Sousa would replace Paul Baloff. "Bonded by Blood" is their first album, and possibly their best. It contains well known thrash anthems like "Piranha", pure speed metal.

347 - Exodus Fabulous Disaster 1989
"Fabulous Disaster" found Exodus at their peak as a band. By this point Steve "Zetro" Souza had settled in as the singer of the band. This track is a perfect thrash song. A flawless set of riffs, which all mix together just right, a good combination of power, speed and melody and an unforgettable chorus.

118 - Exodus The Last Act of Defiance 1989
'Fabulous Disaster' gets off to a great start, with two totally classic songs, 'The Last Act of Defiance' and the title track. "The Last Act of Defiance" chronicles a real life prison riot in the early 80s, this song showcases the amazingly fast feet and incomparable fills of Tom Hunting, the only one capable of challenging Slayer's Dave Lombardo for bragging rights as thrash metal's greatest drummer.
