449 - Machetazo Torso 2000

Machetazo is a deathgrind band from La Coruña, (Spain) formed in 1994. They are one of the few surviving bands in the Spanish underground extreme music scene. They are largely unique amongst extreme metal bands in that drummer Dopi also performs lead vocals, even live, where he uses a microphone mounted on a stand over his hi-hat cymbal (rather than a headset mic, the common choice for drummer/vocalists).
Machetazo has a strong reputation and feedback worldwide specially in the USA,Mexico and Japan. The band has worked and still works hard in promotion and distribution with the help of a lot of independent labels that have always make their best to help Machetazo to spread the insane word of horror and grind.
