1678 - Blood Incantation Obliquity of the Ecliptic 2023

A complex and progressive opener, ‘Obliquity of the Ecliptic’ sweeps and glides through cosmic weirdness. There’s obvious Atheist and Cynic influences here, spiralling cosmic brutality breaks into massive open moments where you get little tastes of Morbid Angel unease. The haunting, galaxial ambience provides respite from the pummelling but it is never calming, merely a temporary stillness in the vast blackness.
